Home improvement blogger and DIY expert Jessie Ecker of Eye in the Detail can’t get enough of Closets by Liberty™ systems!

After transforming her reach-in closet into a stunning his and hers closet, Jessie used her DIY talents to create a customized system for her daughter’s closet using our 6-foot system.

She shares her top 4 tips on how to make a custom closet truly unique to the space. Watch the video above to see how her space came to life from start to finish, or read on to get the highlights.

1. Embrace Flexibility in Your Closet

Jessie’s favorite feature of the Closets by Liberty™ system is how interchangeable the drawers, shelves, and hanging rods are without the use of tools. This is perfect for her daughter! Now she can move the accessories around to anywhere within the towers if she needs more space in a different location or finds another way to organize her things.

2. Get Creative with Peel & Stick Wallpaper

Available in different designs and easy to apply, peel and stick wallpaper instantly adds a decorative element to Jessie’s closet. She showed off its versatility by adding it to both the closet walls and the bottoms of all the drawers for a cute floral accent.

3. Switch Out the Hardware

To give her 6-foot system a more custom look, Jessie swapped out the standard satin finish hardware for gold drawer pulls. The organizer’s classic white finish provides a bright neutral base that complements any decorative hardware you could want.

4. Jazz Up the Drawer Front

Jessie added subtle texture to the closet system and gave the drawers a whole new look by layering fluted trim on their front. The all-white design is warmed up by the light oak wood panels for a modern look and feel.
